Diverse Learning Environments
Baby Bears
The infant room provides a warm, intimate setting for our infants. The curriculum invites exploration through teacher-child interactions and stimulating activities. The infant nursery provides an inclusive educational environment for children birth through twelve months of age.
Loveable Lambs
The One Year Old class focuses on helping children learn to socialize and interact with each other. Toddlers enjoy hands-on learning through a variety of sensory activities.
Terrific Tigers
The two year old is a room of discovery and developing of minds where children are interested in everything and ready to learn. Lesson plans include language development, learning the alphabet, recognizing numbers and learning to count. Learning centers use blocks, puzzles, creative art, and books. At this stage, toddlers are becoming more independent and our teachers promote practicing life skills like hand washing, picking up toys and sharing with friends.
Tumbling Tweeties
At this stage, the two and a half year old class large muscle development is important, to practice skills and to lay the foundation for an active, healthy lifestyle. Small muscle development is important as well, to develop hand-eye coordination and to ensure their hand muscles are strong as they begin to write.
Curious Cliffords
The Pre-K-3 class focus is placed on language arts and math fundamentals to promote excitement about learning new concepts. For these active learners our lesson plans are filled with activities to help each child grow socially, intellectually and physically.
Leaping Lions
Kindergarten Prep class for children who turn 4 by September 15th promotes cooperative play to learn problem solving through lesson plans that teach the children to use independent reasoning and develop manners and social skills. Our teachers introduce the structure of a classroom setting and concentrate on early reading and math skills. Language lessons include story time followed by content questions. Phonics and writing are stressed. In math, adding and subtracting are introduced along with graphing, grouping, sorting and comparisons. In Science and Discovery, they will learn about animals, the earth and outer space, the weather, magnets and magnifying glasses, and the five senses. Social studies teach the children about their community and different cultures.
School Agers
Before/After school learning environment for your School Age student. Even when school is not in session, children need to be actively engaged in a stimulating learning environment. We offer a safe, structured environment that balances learning and fun.
